I am a freelance graphic designer. For the past seven years, I have specialised in magazine design, working in London and Liverpool as an Art Editor/Designer 'in-house', for magazines such as Closer, First, Heat, Cosmopolitan, Empire, the Guardian Guide, M&S magazine and Candis magazine. As a freelancer, my role involves designing layouts, creating artwork, commissioning illustration and photography, preparing layouts for print, proof-checking - working in InDesign, Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Before becoming a freelancer, I worked as Art Director/Art Editor on various (book) titles for Random House, Australia and Dorling Kindersely. Before that, I worked for a small graphic design agency in Manchester, designing brochures, marketing documents and corporate identities.
